John Jacobi, B.Comm, MBA
President and Director

John founded Terra Funds, which specializes in resource based investment products for the energy and mining sectors. John has been offering alternative investment products to investors since 1993 and has helped raise over $300 million in limited partnership financings. He is also the President, CEO and a director of the Terra Flow-Through Limited Partnerships offered since 2005. John has also been President of Linden Mills Investments Inc. since 2005. Prior to 1993, he held a number of senior management positions with high technology start-ups. John has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Queen's University and a Masters of Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario.

Gary Sharpe, CFA
Vice President, Sales

Gary joined Terra in October 2010, bringing over 29 years of financial services industry experience to the company. Gary began his career in the life insurance business and subsequently moved into the financial planning services field. Gary was awarded his CFA designation in 1988 when he began an 11 year career as a mutual fund wholesaler predominantly with Trimark Investment Management. Gary was also a founding partner of an investment counselling firm and has also worked in the closed-end fund business.

Kerri Robinson
Director, Dealer & Client Relations

Kerri joined Terra in May 2008 as Director of Dealer & Client Relations, bringing over 25 years of industry experience to the company. Her experience in both the institutional and retail markets encompasses the areas of trading, portfolio management, business development and client relations. Prior to joining Terra, Kerri worked with high net worth individuals at various companies including BMO Harris Private Banking and AGF Management. She has also worked for a number of independent brokerage firms over the years including, Richardson Greenshields and Dominion Securities.

Tracey Pierson
Director, Marketing & Operations

Tracey joined Terra in September 2005, bringing over 20 years of project management experience with marketing and printing firms to the company. Tracey assisted in establishing and administering Terra's office policies and procedures. Her attention to detail and organizational skills have proved to be a great fit. Tracey continues to play a key role in refining Terra's operations and also oversees the development and implementation of Terra's marketing and web presence.

Advisory Board

Don Hunter, FCA, ICD.D
Advisory Board Member

Mr. Hunter was appointed to the advisory board of Terra Fund Management Ltd. in June 2005. Mr. Hunter is a professional director. Prior to July 2005, he was a partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP since 1982. He was the audit engagement partner on a number of Canada's largest financial services companies in the banking, investment and asset management sectors. In 2009, Mr Hunter was elected the FCA designation which is the highest designation that the Institute of Chartered Accountants confers and honors members who have given outstanding service to the profession or brought distinction to it. Mr. Hunter has been on the Accounting and Auditing Advisory panel of the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, has lectured at the University of Toronto and the CICA and has participated on numerous community boards. Mr. Hunter has an MBA from York University, a B.E.Sc. (Engineering) from the University of Western Ontario and is a Chartered Accountant.

The selection and portfolio management of Terra's funds is entrusted to Marquest Asset Management Inc., an experienced investment firm, whose professionals share Terra's value-oriented philosophy.

The portfolio manager who will have primary responsibility for the execution of the Parntership's investment strategy is Gerry Brockelsby. Mr. Brockelsby manages over $100 million in client assets and will manage the Partnership. Mr. Brokelsby has extensive experience investing in the resource sector and a long list of relationships in the industry, developed over many years. The portfolio manager has a particularly strong capability in the small and medium capitalization areas of the market where the majority of the best flow-through offerings occur.

Mr. Brockelsby has over 37 years of experience in the investment industry. After earning his Bachelor of Arts, Mr. Brockelsby entered the investment industry as a private fund manager for Canada Permanent Trust. Prior to founding the Portfolio Advisor in 1985, Mr. Brockelsby was Chief Investment Officer for INCO Limited pension fund. Mr. Brockelsby is responsible for the overall investment strategy and research coverage of the firm. Mr. Brockelsby has gained the respect of his peers, advisors and clients and has been sought out by leading business journals for his advice and insights on investments.

Marquest will only invest in ETFs and shares of firms trading on public stock exchanges on behalf of the Terra flow-through partnerships and its resource mutual funds. Marquest Asset Management Inc. is a member of the Investment Counsel Association of Canada and is registered with the Ontario Securties Commission.
